Salt Lake City & the Wasatch Front Laminated Map

This brightly colored map reflects the dramatic natural setting of Salt Lake City and the nearby Wasatch Mountains. The map spans from Tooele and the Oquirrh Mountains and the east half of the Great Salt Lake (including Antelope Island) in the west towards the east to Park City, Heber City and Coalville, deep in the Wasatch Range. Coverage from north to south includes Layton and the Weber River in the north to Provo, the northern half of Utah Lake and Cedar Valley in the south. This map even includes the historic Pony Express route!

The bottom edge of map includes a geologic profile across the western face of the Wasatch Range that gives a sense of this dramatic backdrop to the Salt Lake City area, rising steeply as much as 7,000 feet!  The map overlay includes locations of the 2000 Winter Olympic events.
