The Stratigraphy of the eastern Uinta Mountains is presented in this single-page publication by the Utah Geological Survey. The chart begins with the oldest rock found in the eastern Uinta Mountains, the Paleoproterozoic Red Creek Quartzite, which has been around for 1.6 billion years. The youngest rocks are the glacial outwash and alluvium found in the streams and valleys. This chart will definitely help understand the complex geology of the region.
