During the 1980s engineers and geologists with the Utah State University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Dames and Moore prepared a series of liquefaction potential maps for parts of Utah. Five separate reports cover the urbanized Wasatch Front counties and other valley and basin areas in the Intermountain seismic belt of northern and central Utah. In 1994 the Utah Geological Survey published the technical reports and maps as UGS Contract Reports to make them available for practicing professional engineers and geologists. Because these reports have many large basic-data maps in addition to the liquefaction potential maps, the UGS also published a parallel set with non-technical summaries. Simplified page-size maps for Wasatch Front counties were added in the Public Information series.

This CD combines all these items to make them available in a single product. The CD contains text and maps in pdf form.
